| The hottest sporting event on the planet is in progress nowadays. Yes I am referring to the Olympics 2012 taking place in London, England. It is a grand event that takes place after every four years and showcases top sporting athletes from all over the world. Each Olympian participates to win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal for their respective countries. It includes over 50 sporting events including hockey, football, gymnastics, swimming and many others. Many great Olympic legends are currently participating in this year’s event including Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt. |

| Photographers who cover these sporting events are categorized under ‘action photography’. They require high quality camera equipments with hi-speed capturing feature. Sports photography has given rise to many cool and interesting photography techniques. One of the most recent ones that we have witnessed in Olympics 2012 was the use of multiple exposure technique to capture the speed and intensity of the athletes and showcase the effect of an entire event. |

How Multiple Exposure Works:
|
| In sports photography, multiple exposure shots are taken at split-second gaps. These shots are combined to build one solitary picture that portrays an entire scene. The aim is to show an athlete’s movements in a step by step manner. Following are 20 exhilarating shots of multiple exposure photos taken at Olympics 2012. |
